Patrick Collison

Patrick Collison is an Irish entrepreneur and the co-founder and CEO of Stripe, a global financial technology company, which he started with his brother John Collison in 2010. Born in Dromineer, County Tipperary, Ireland, he showed an early interest in programming and won the 2005 Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition. Before Stripe, the Collison brothers founded Shuppa, which later became Auctomatic, a platform for eBay sellers that was acquired by Live Current Media.
