Jarod Koopman

Jarod Koopman is the Executive Director of Cyber and Forensic Services for the IRS Criminal Investigation division. In this role, which he assumed in June 2021, Koopman established a new department focused on cyber and forensic investigations. Before his current position, Koopman had an extensive career with the IRS Criminal Investigation, as evidenced by his over 500 LinkedIn connections in the Washington DC-Baltimore area. He is known as an inspirational leader within the organization. Koopman's expertise in cyber and forensic investigations has made him a sought-after speaker on topics related to financial crimes and cryptocurrency.
