Gilli Raanan is a tremendous entrepreneur, and the board of directors at Fireblocks, which is a blockchain security provider for moving, storing, and issuing cryptocurrency, based in New York, United States. Fire blocks permit banks, fintech, exchanges, liquidity providers, OTCs, and hedge funds to firmly manage cryptocurrencies transversely to a wide range of products and services. Blockchain technology consists of the Fireblocks Network and MPC-based Wallet Infrastructure. He is the founder and general partner at Cyber Start. He is also a general partner at Sequoia Capital, in Israel since 2009. Gili started and led two private companies in the enterprise software market till their accomplishment by EMC and IBM.

 

Previously he worked for 10 years at the Israeli Intelligence agency, and for this work, he was awarded the Israeli Security Presidential award, in 1996, and the Israeli Defense Forces Innovation award, in 1992. During the entire year, his innovation has been recognized in the 10 United States patents, that he holds for various inventions in the security and application management field, and also recognized inventor of CAPTCHA, one of the world’s most widespread security algorithms. 

Graduated from  Recanati Business School, earning a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, General, in 1996, and Tel Aviv University, earning a bachelor’s degree in the Science, Computer and Economics, in 1994. An individual is full of skills including entrepreneurship, business strategy, product management, mobile devices, enterprise software, SaaS, etc.
