Elizabeth (Ploshay) McCauley serves in the Greater Philadelphia Metropolitan Area as a Bitcoin and Blockchain Developer. She was designated as one of the top FinTech Influencers in the United States in 2016. Elizabeth earned her bachelor's degree in political science from Wheaton College in 2011. McCauley is a freelance marketing consultant who has previously assisted several well-known companies. She is now working on business development plans and future operational strategies for Crypto Media Hub and Biterra Capital.
Ploshay began her career working in politics, interning for Congressmen Peter J. Roskam and Kevin Brady. She worked for Targeted Victory as a staff assistant and later in the US Congress. Elizabeth joined Roskam as a Scheduler in September 2012. She officially entered the Blockchain field eight months later as the Manager of Communications for Bitcoin Magazine and was elevated to Director of Operations at Outreach a year later. She joined BitPay as an Account Manager in June 2014. Elizabeth served as a consultant for the BitGive Foundation and is now a consultant for Coin Congress.
She has been a member of the Bitcoin Foundation's Board of Directors since October 2013, and of Code to Inspire's Board of Directors since December 2014. Elizabeth has worked with Arbonne International as a District Manager, Coinsecure as the Head of Global Business Development, and bridge21 as the Head of Business Development.
