Daniela Barbosa is a Executive Director of the Hyperledger Foundation and General Manager of Blockchain, Healthcare, and Identity at the Linux Foundation With overall strategic and operational responsibility for the staff, programs, growth, and accomplishment of Hyperledger's mission. Daniela holds more than 20 years of expertise in enterprise technology, including four years as Vice President of Worldwide Alliances for the Hyperledger Foundation, where she was in charge of the member community as well as broader industry and business community outreach and network expansion.
She started her career at Dow Jones, where she designed and delivered enterprise systems, ontologies, and semantic web solutions for the biggest global brands operating in a range of industries, including finance, consumer goods, and energy. Daniela was involved in the early Web 2.0 community in the early 2000s and contributed to the advancement of the ideas of digital identity and data portability as a means for individuals to reuse their data across interoperable applications.
