Web3 and Blockchain World is a global event focused on Digital Assets and Digital Transformation in business and government. A third generation of the Web has given rise to new terminology, "Web3," which serves as evidence that the revolution is taking hold. To better reflect this new language, they have changed the name of their Blockchain Revolution Global (BRG) event to Web3 & Blockchain World (W3B). W3B will inform, inspire, and train leaders to be a part of the transformation that Web3 is bringing to the industry, government, and society. It is co-hosted by the Blockchain Research Institute, a global independent blockchain think-tank, and MCI Group, the largest engagement agency in the world. Don and Alex Tapscott described how blockchain was ushering in a second Internet era and reflecting a fundamental transition from an Internet of Information to an Internet of Value in their 2016 book, Blockchain Revolution.
