PAYZ refers to the Payment Association of Zambia established in the year 2018 and officially registered in 2019. The Payment Association of Zambia was established through a partnership between the Bank of Zambia, the mobile money operator Financial Sector Deepening Zambia (FSDZ), and non-bank payment service providers. PAYZ's objectives and functions include innovation, policy formation, industry dialogue, financial stability, research and development, and public and private dialogue.
