The goal of the Nordic Game community website is to support and promote the success of the Nordic games industry by disseminating the most recent information on the Nordic games industry, Nordic Game events including their annual industry conference and Nordic Game Awards, and the Discovery Contest season tour schedule, qualifiers, and finals. The Nordic Game Program was established in 2005 after Nordic Game organized the first Nordic Game conference in 2004 and secured 12 million EUR from Nordic governments. Additionally, Nordic Game oversaw the six-year Nordic game creation grant program, which funded 107 games chosen from 1,277 submissions, half of which have been made available for purchase.
