Lugano’s Plan ₿ is a joint initiative between the City of Lugano and Tether to accelerate the use of and advantages of bitcoin technology as the foundation to transform the financial infrastructure. Their plan will scale blockchain and Bitcoin throughout the city to positively impact all surfaces of daily life for the residents of Lugano. They will bring Bitcoin Lightning Network technology to private merchants and support them in the combination. They support the decentralization of the bitcoin network and the activity of sustainable bitcoin mining facilities in the region.  Lugano’s Plan ₿ was established in the year 2022.
