Andrea Gacki is a Director of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), a bureau within the U.S. Treasury Department tasked with combating financial crimes, in the Biden administration. Earlier she also directed the Office of Foreign Assets Control. She holds a BA from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbour and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School.
Gacki started her career as a trial attorney in the Federal Programmes Branch of the Department of Justice's Civil Division, where she served in the administrations of George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden. Gacki's dedication to combating financial crimes and promoting national security has been recognised by her peers and industry leaders.
