Amadeo Alentorn

Amadeo Alentorn is Head of Systematic Equities at Jupiter Asset Management, responsible for managing a range of equity funds, including market neutral and absolute return strategies. He has been part of the systematic equities team since 2005. Before joining Jupiter, he worked at Merian Global Investors as a portfolio manager and head of research, and at Old Mutual. Before that, he developed simulation models for systemic and liquidity risk for the Financial Stability Group at the Bank of England and also worked as a Software Developer for CAD systems and robotic applications. Amadeo holds a BEng in Robotics from the University of Plymouth, an MSc in Computer Science, and a PhD in Computational Finance from the University of Essex. He is a CFA charterholder.
