"Tom Barret is the President and Founder of EnCirca, Inc., Name Share, Inc., and blockchain projects Altroots.com and w3.link. Mr. Barrett has engineering degrees from MIT and WPI. Currently, he is the Chair of the Blockchain/Web3 Working Group for the International Trademark Association and a Member of the ICANN Nominating Committee.

Mr. Barrett was initially Vice President at Thomson CompuMark where he led the development of the SAEGIS trademark research platform. Tom Barrett has over 30 years of experience in technology, including over 20 years of experience in internet development and management.
