Sophia Lopez is the founder and chief operating officer of Kaleido. Founded the platform with Steve, Peter, and Jim with the intention of leading an open-source revolution for Web3 and helping shape the ever-changing digital future. Sophia has over thirty-four years of experience working in a variety of well-known organizations. She served at IBM as Director, Blockchain Platform Worldwide.

Sophia started her journey in blockchain in 2015 when she directed the IBM Blockchain Platform product portfolio, establishing high-value offerings to support clients accomplish the best business results via the adoption of blockchain technology. Additionally, she served on the Board of Advisors at ACADEMIA MAES, as Research Assistant at The Brattle Group, as Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble Interamerican, and also at the Center for International Business Education and Research CIBER as MBA Manager. 

Sophia was honored with numerous awards, such as the GSS Top Award for Sales Skills Performance, the IBM Software Top Gun Award, the IBM Hardware Top Gun Award, the IBM Global Services Top Gun Award, and the 2013 IBM Sales Eminence.
