Sonya has been involved in the space of cryptocurrency since 2013. At that time, she established a bitcoin payment organization called Bitcoin Payments, which permits virtual merchants in South Africa to obtain bitcoin as a means of payment for goods and services. She is the Co-Founder and Director of a privately held organization, Bitcoin Events Ltd., which proudly organizes blockchain conferences across Africa. Sonya, along with Theo Sauls, founded Bitcoin Events in 2014, with the aim to provide education and information to the community about the potency and efficiency of the booming blockchain technology across Africa. 

 

Currently serving as Co-Founder, COO, Crypto, and Blockchain Special Consultant at Xago Technologies Ltd., which provides traders with XRP cryptocurrency transactions, mobile payment, and gateway space, as well as a secure, fast, and reliable payment method via blockchain technology. She is also the Founder and Managing Director of Blockchain Academy.

 

Sonya provides training and consulting on the emerging blockchain technology and cryptocurrency across the world to educate people and organizations on how to establish and develop in the changing world.
