Shantnoo is a seasoned payments and fintech executive with over 15 years of experience. He has built successful businesses in the Middle East, Africa, UK, and Europe, and has gained solid experience in a regulated environment.In 2016, Shantnoo entered the crypto space and engineered a model between Bitcoins and traditional money transfer while consulting for BitPesa. He played a key role in setting up BitPesa’s London operations.In 2018, Shantnoo moved to Dubai to set up the MENAT operations for Huobi, the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange. He was appointed as their GM and ran a profitable business for Huobi MENAT. He partnered with well-known brands in the UAE for the OTC business and structured the business plan to set up an OTC desk for Huobi at DMCC. Shantnoo is currently the founder of Encryptus, an infrastructure provider for Crypto and Traditional Finance businesses. Encryptus has gained several payments and crypto licenses. The vision is to simplify crypto <> fiat with compliances and regulations. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and is a recognized expert in the payments and fintech space.
