Anthony Scaramucci is an American financier who served as the White House Director of Communications from July 21 to July 31, 2017.
Scaramucci was born on January 6, 1964, in New York. Scaramucci graduated in 1982 from Paul D. Schreiber Senior High School in Port Washington. Scaramucci began his career at Goldman Sachs in 1989, in the Investment Banking division and private wealth management divisions between 1989 and 1996.
Scaramucci was appointed White House Communications Director. Days into the job, he founded SkyBridge Capital, a global alternative investment firm. He is also the chairman of the SkyBridge Alternatives Conference, or "SALT" Conference, launched in 2009.
