Sarath Ratanavadi is a successful Thai entrepreneur who is serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Thailand’s third-largest energy organization, called Gulf Energy Development. Sarath has been featured at # 5 in the list of Forbes as Thailand’s 50 Richest Individuals in 2021, worth $8.9 Billion, and also ranked at # 161 as a Billionaire in 2022. Gulf Energy Development is associating with Singtel in a new venture to form data centers in Thailand, whereas in January 2022 the company signed an agreement with Binance to set up a crypto exchange in Thailand space. He Had been awarded his first royal decoration, the Knight Grand Cross of the Noblest Order of the Crown of Thailand. 

 

He established the company, Gulf Energy, in 2017, increasing its value to approximately $700+ million in the country’s largest IPO in a decade. Whereas in 2021, he accommodates stakes in telecom giant InTouch Holdings and its broadcasting unit, named Advanced Info. Apart from serving as CEO at Gulf Energy Development, he currently serves at several companies leading the roles as a director at Intouch Holdings Plc, as a director at Advanced Info Service Plc, and as Vice Chairman of the Board at Gulf Energy Development Plc.
