Robert Kopitsch is the fintech and blockchain practice lead, EMEA for APCO, based in the firm’s Brussels office. He is the initiator and co-founder of Blockchain for Europe and has been working since its foundation in 2018 as its secretary general. In this capacity, he was involved in the creation of the EU’s regulatory framework for crypto assets and service providers (MiCA) as well as anti-money laundering rules (Travel Rule and AMLR).
