Richard Evans

Rich Evans is the Managing Director of CEX.IO Prime, a cryptocurrency exchange platform that provides institutional-grade services. In this role, he oversees the operations and growth of CEX.IO Prime, which offers a range of digital asset trading solutions to over 50 institutional clients, including OTC desks, crypto wallets, and hedge funds.Evans brings extensive experience in the banking and technology sectors, having held leadership positions at various financial institutions. Prior to joining CEX.IO, he served as the General Manager of Banking and Capital Markets at DXC Technology, where he led a transformation of the sales and product verticals. He also held COO and Head of Equities roles at Barclays, where he drove improvements in secondary trading market share and primary market rankings for UK Equities.Earlier in his career, Evans worked at Morgan Stanley, where he built the Equity Delta-1 strategists team, and at Citi, where he started as a Program Trader and later became the Global Head of Electronic Trading and Execution.Evans holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Boardroom Behaviour and Corporate Governance. He is currently the co-chair of the GSC and a board member of FIXprotocol.org, the non-profit industry-driven standards body for global trading.
