Rami Khalil is the founder and CTO of the Liquidity Network, a cryptocurrency that performs in the Ethereum environment. He was honoured with a first place award at the ACM Arb Collegiate Programming Contest and operated at Facebook on their infrastructure and security teams. Khalil departed from the reality that blockchain technology was unwelcome back home. Therefore, he launched his startup in the space of Egypt, called Liquidity Network, and restructured the existing business model he had in his head back in Egypt. The platform executes a protocol in parallel with that of blockchain, additionally, permitting the funds that will be dealt with inside the network, similar to blockchain, which enables secure, reliable, and authorised exchanges. 

 

The decision for Bitcoin Egypt was generated out of his research when he was studying for his Master’s degree in information security, which was all about discovering the concept within bitcoin known as payments channels. He built a publication named Revive, which allows a network of payment channels to alter itself in a particular way. After this, he began to develop an interest in bitcoin. As he remembers the initiation of the company he nearly established along with his partner, Omar Abdel Rassoul, They were entirely ready, to begin with, for the cryptocurrency exchange.

 

He says that if he processes things centrally on a single device, it will serve so much faster than if he processes the exact thing several times on several devices. Therefore, he has balanced the security that he wants from decentralization.  Khalil graduated from Alexandria High School and received a scholarship to the German University in Cairo, where he studied computer science and began his journey of self-discovery.
