Professor Jamiel Sheikh

Jamiel Sheikh is a prominent figure in the fields of blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), and artificial intelligence (AI). He currently serves as the CEO of Scifn (formerly Chainhaus), a digital assets advisory and education company focused on DeFi and AI. Sheikh's notable roles and achievements include: Serving as an adjunct professor at CUNY SPS, where he teaches graduate-level courses on blockchain, AI, and data science. Authoring the book "Mastering Corda," an Amazon bestseller, and currently working on "The Decentralized Finance Phenomenon" for Columbia Press.Running the Central Bank Digital Currency Think Tank, which includes central banks, academics, and Blockchain NYC, the largest blockchain and digital assets meetup group in New York City Serving on the board of the Society of Women Coders, which helps young women in underserved communities engage in technology, and sitting on advisory boards for several startups.Being a member of the United Nations Digital Currency Global Initiative and Digital Euro Association.Owning and operating digital assets like CBDC Insider and Blockchain101.com, which focus on educating people about the emerging Web 3.0 world.
