Kurt is the President and Co-Founder of Partisia Blockchain, a Web 3.0 public blockchain designed for scalability, privacy, and interoperability. Kurt has spent more than 12 years as an entrepreneur pioneering the commercial use of advanced cryptographic solutions and turning them into new high-tech firms. Partisia, Sepior, and Secata are three additional successful firms he co-founded. He has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Copenhagen, UC Berkeley, and the University of Toronto, and has worked as an Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen for more than a while. He has pioneered a huge number of research projects combining strategic decision-making, applied information economics, mechanism design, and data science in broad terms as a researcher.
