Pankaj Balani

Pankaj Balani is the CEO and Co-Founder of Delta - Crypto Derivatives Exchange, a platform allowing participants to trade cryptocurrencies derivatives. Balani has over 14 years of experience in the financial services industry. He started his career as a Sales Trader at UBS in 2006, where he catered to hedge funds for their hedging and volatility trading needs. He then joined Edelweiss Asset Management as an Associate in 2008, followed by Elara Capital as Head of Derivatives Strategy and Sales in 2010. In 2012, Balani joined Purplle.com as a Core Team Member and Vice President, Head of product & Growth, where he was responsible for achieving revenue and growth targets, forging relationships with industry players, and streamlining operations. He co-founded ZippyBots in 2016 before co-founding Delta - Crypto Derivatives Exchange in 2018, where he is currently the CEO and Co-Founder. Balani holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Indian School of Business and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
