Nikhil Joshi

Nikhil Joshi is a Singapore-based blockchain enthusiast currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at EMURGO, a pioneering entity of Cardano whose purpose is to increase commercial adoption of the blockchain through an approach of investment and nurture.

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. As a COO, he oversaw the nurture side, its technology infrastructure, social network, growth partnership, and education products and services. He has spent years in various roles within finance and banking, including leadership positions in investment banking; as CFO/COO in a trade finance blockchain startup, and as an advisor to Web3 startups covering business development, fund-raising, finance, and broader commercial matters.

Nikhil was interested in tokenization of real-world assets and he was familiar with securitization and saw it as a powerful means to distribute risk. Nikhil  contributes to EMURGO's vision for 2030, offering solutions in education, infrastructure development, smart contract audits, funding, and more to support the growth of Cardano and the blockchain ecosystem
