Pankaj Chaudhary is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament (MP) representing the Maharajganj constituency in Uttar Pradesh. Chaudhary began his political career as a member of the Municipal Corporation in Gorakhpur, serving as Deputy Mayor from 1990 to 1991.
He was first elected to the 10th Lok Sabha in 1991 and has since served multiple terms, including re-elections in 1996, 1998, 2004, 2014, and 2019. He faced defeats in the 1999 and 2009 elections but returned to the Lok Sabha in 2014 and was re-elected in 2019. Ministerial Role: In July 2021, he was appointed as the Union Minister of State for Finance in the Second Modi Ministry.
