Mark Carney

Mark Carney is a board member of Stripe, he was born on March 16, 1965, in Fort Smith, Carney graduated from Harvard in 1988 with a bachelor's degree with high honors in economics. He is a Canadian economist and banker who served as a governor of the Bank of Canada from 2008 to 2013 and the governor of the Bank of England from 2013 to 2020. Before his governorship, carney worked at Goldman Sachs. He also serves as the UN Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance
