Kathy Thompson

Kathy Thompson is the Assistant Superintendent of the National Security Sector at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI). In this role, she leads OSFI's efforts to address national security risks in the financial sector. Thompson has extensive experience in the public sector, having previously held senior positions at the Department of Finance Canada and the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC). Her expertise lies in areas such as anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing, and economic sanctions.
