Jonathan Davis

Jonathan Davis is the Data Science Lead in the UK Operations at Zurich Insurance. In this role, he leads a team of 14 data scientists and machine learning engineers. As the data science team of Zurich UK, he applies state-of-the-art machine learning and AI models to the business units throughout Zurich UK and the wider Zurich Group.

Before working as a data scientist I was an astroparticle physics researcher for four years, working on the statistical analysis of data for rare events due to dark matter or neutrinos.

Davis has expertise in leveraging data-driven insights and advanced analytics to support Zurich's business operations and decision-making processes. He is actively involved in discussions and initiatives around the practical implementation of AI technologies, including addressing risks, governance, and regulation
