Jean-Marie Mognett is the Chief Executive Officer of CoinShares, an open-listed investment organization that manages more than five billion in digital assets on behalf of an international investor base as well as an expertized commodities trader with a remarkable history in quantitative planning.

 

Jean has a greater interest in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cryptocurrency, NFT, and digital assets and puts light on the fact that investors in cryptocurrencies are motivated by two things: first, a concern that central banks are printing money without thinking of the future; and secondly, the investors’ goal to express a lack of trust in fiat or natural currencies. His specialties include commodity trading, alpha-generating strategies, quantitative trading, and exotic product valuation. 

 

He has played many leadership roles as a veteran of the Global Advisors group of firms since 2011. Most recently, Jean served as CEO of Global Advisors Limited and director of the world’s first regulated Bitcoin company, GABI. Before connecting with Global Advisors, he served as a quantitative strategist with Hermes Commodities Fund Managers and as an energy trader assistant at Lehman Brothers.
