Jim McKelvey

Jim McKelvey is the co-founder of Square, the parent company that owns and operates the popular mobile payment platform Cash App.McKelvey co-founded Square in 2009 alongside Jack Dorsey, who is the former CEO of Twitter and current CEO of Block (the new name for Square's parent company). As the co-founder of Square, McKelvey played a pivotal role in the development and growth of Cash App, which has become one of Square's (now Block's) flagship products. While McKelvey does not appear to have a direct operational role at Cash App, his position as co-founder of the parent company gives him significant influence over the direction and strategy of the payment platform.
