Jean Baptiste Graftieaux is the Chief Executive Officer at Bitstamp. He was the Executive and Chief Compliance Officer at Bitstamp from 2014 to 2016, Bitstamp Limited owns and operates a digital currency marketplace. The Company offers a platform that allows companies and individuals to buy and sell bitcoin, litecoin, Ethereum, ripple, and bitcoin cash. Bitstamp serves customers worldwide. before returning to the firm in 2021 as CEO for Europe. he has returned to Bitstamp, bringing with him even more fintech and payment knowledge to help the company achieve its goals. He was the Managing Director of eBay Europe during his time away from Bitstamp, where he supervised their regulatory business operations for payments in Europe and served on the board of directors of multiple eBay organizations for five years.

 

He was previously the Executive and EMEA Chief Compliance Officer at PayPal before joining eBay. He was in charge of getting regulatory approvals for our EU-based business and operations throughout his first two years at Bitstamp. JB is currently in charge of Bitstamp's regulatory contacts, as well as the compliance and legal teams, as well as regional expansion and business development.
