Idan Ofrat

Idan Ofrat is the Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of Fireblocks, a leading digital asset security infrastructure company. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the development and strategy of Fireblocks' products, ensuring they meet the needs of the company's customers.Ofrat brings over two decades of experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, and product management to Fireblocks. Prior to co-founding Fireblocks, he held a leadership role at Check Point Software Technologies, where he was part of the team that investigated the infamous $200 million Bitcoin hack of South Korean cryptocurrency exchanges by the Lazarus Group.Ofrat's background includes pioneering work in the mobile security field while serving in an elite military technological unit (8200) in Israel, where he received the Israeli Presidential Excellency Honor for his contributions.Ofrat holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences and Physics from Ben-Gurion University in Israel. He is a recognized industry speaker, having delivered talks at major security conferences such as RSA Conference, Black Hat, and Infosec.
