Iain Brooks

Iain Brooks is the Director of the Product Development Team in the Bank’s Currency Department, with a primary focus on research and industrialization to advance banknote security, business-relevant analysis of the performance of the banknote product, and the development and recommendation of world-class bank note configurations. A materials engineer by trade, Iain has over 20 years of technology and product development experience. Iain holds Materials Engineering degrees from the Royal Military College of Canada, Queen’s University, and the University of Toronto, and is an accredited Professional Engineer in Ontario.
