Binance's Blockchain for Charity initiative, which focuses on harnessing blockchain for social good, is led by her. She is also the goodwill ambassador for industrialization in Africa for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. She is also the originator of the Made in Africa Initiative, which provides advice to African governments on industrialization and investment. She has approximately 25 years of international experience in FTSE100 firms and was trained as an actuary in the United Kingdom. She graduated from CASS Business School in London with a bachelor's degree in actuarial science and a master's degree in actuarial management, as well as an executive MBA from Insead and Tsinghua University.

With several projects and relationships in place, the Binance Charity Foundation has made significant progress in its objective to use blockchain as a tool for social good. BCF created the charitable stable coin initiative Pink Care Token (PCAT) in collaboration with 46 other companies, to give feminine hygiene products to millions of women who would otherwise be unable to buy or obtain them. The Binance Lunch for Children project, which gives year-round support to Ugandan kids as well as solar panels for their schools, is another long-term BCF effort.

With Hai at the helm, we expect BCF to continue implementing diverse social impact projects around the world in 2020. This will not only demonstrate the value of crypto and cross-border payments in humanitarian efforts, but it will also demonstrate how emergent technology can heal the world while challenging established institutions.
