H.E. Dr. Susan Koech is the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK), a key figure in the country's financial sector. She has served in this role since March 10, 2023, and before that, she was the Principal Secretary for various departments, including Wildlife, East African Community, and Regional Development. Dr. Koech has over 20 years of distinguished career in the banking industry, holding various senior leadership positions. Her expertise in Monetary and Financial Management, Governance, People Management and Development, and strategic management has been instrumental in her role at the CBK. Dr. Koech holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management
