Fred Thiel is the CEO of Marathon Digital Holdings a digital asset technology company that mines cryptocurrencies with a focus on the blockchain ecosystem and the generation of digital assets. Fred has 30 years of experience in leading companies in cryptocurrency, digital assets, semiconductors, data communication, AI, and IoT. He drove growth and generated billions of dollars in shareholder value.

As a CEO, Fred led companies through rapid growth to IPO, repositioned companies for high-value exits to strategic and financial acquirers, led M&A and roll-up strategies, as well as successfully executed corporate turnarounds and wind-downs. Fred is a current member of YPO, a former chairman of the YPO Technology Network, and a former chapter chairman of the YPO California Coast chapter.
