Evan Cheng

Evan Cheng is based in the US, currently, he is the CEO and Co-Founder of Mysten Labs. Evan has an extensive background in platform development. Evan graduated from Marietta College with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science and Math. With more than 24 years of building developer-facing technology and leading engineering teams at companies such as Apple and Facebook. Before founding Mysten Labs, Evan led the Novi Research at Meta developing cutting-edge blockchain technologies.

He worked as a senior principal Engineer at Synfora Inc.Later, Evan worked for almost 10 years at Apple in various fields where he started as a Senior Compiler Engineer. He has become a technical lead for LLVM (Low-Level Virtual Machine) code-generating efforts. Evan's commitment to pushing boundaries and fostering creativity propels Mysten Labs toward new heights of success in the ever-evolving landscape of technology.
