Evan Cheng is the Co-founder and CEO of Mysten Labs, founded in 2021 alongside Sam Blackshear, George Denizis, and Adeniyi Abiodun, with a company size of 171, responsible for the innovative Sui layer 1 protocol. He is a recipient of the esteemed 2012 ACM Software System award and boasts over 24 years of experience in platform development, particularly in creating technology for developers and managing engineering teams at major organizations like Apple and Facebook. Before starting Mysten Labs, Evan headed the Novi Research team at Meta, focusing on developing advanced blockchain technologies.
