Edward Kemp

Edward is Group CFO of CHAMP Cargosystems, a leading global provider of IT systems for the air cargo industry.He has been CFO, CRO and a member of general management in banking and fintech companies. He has served on several boards of directors, including that of a European systemically important bank. He has worked in Luxembourg, Belgium, France and the UK.He was Group CFO of Bitstamp, the world’s longest-standing digital asset exchange. He was previously Finance Director of JP Morgan Bank Luxembourg SA, the largest custody bank in Luxembourg. He was Chief Risk Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of BNY Mellon SA/NV in Brussels, which is BNY Mellon's main bank in Continental Europe. Previously, he was Deputy General Manager and CFO of BNY Mellon (Luxembourg) SA.He has been a member of the Banking Supervision Committee of the ABBL, the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association. He is currently a Business Mentor with the Luxembourg House of FinTech.Edward is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and holds a BSc(Econ) from the London School of Economics, a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.
