Edlayne Altheman Burr

Edlayne is a Managing Director of Accenture, leading the Payments Strategy & Consulting practice for Latin America and Growth Markets. She is based in São Paulo, Brazil.She has over 25 years of strategic advisory experience within financial services, bringing deep expertise in strategy development for payments, retail banking, and insurance – including open finance and payments strategy, corporate strategy, market assessment, customer segmentation, growth/expansion, entry strategies, loyalty/incentive programs and valuation/M&A​.Prior to joining Accenture, she was the Group Head of MasterCard Advisors for Latin America. She was responsible for establishing and developing MasterCard´s Advisory Services in the region, including Consulting Services, Analytics, Information, and Managed Services.As a Partner at Kearney, Edlayne led and developed its Financial Services practice in Latin America. She also brings strategic consulting experience from her career both at Booz and BCG, besides industry experience at Unilever and Credicard.She holds an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of São Paulo (POLI – USP), graduating second in her class​
