Hi, I’m Dimitar — the one who started CoinReporter.io in early 2021.

After 25+ years in IT, I got fed up with the endless bias, sensationalism, clickbait headlines, and one-sided narratives in mainstream media — and decided to build something straightforward and honest instead.

Most of my career I worked as a **systems engineer**:

- Cisco networking & data-center gear  
- Microsoft Windows Server environments (Active Directory, Hyper-V, Azure hybrid)  
- Linux Ubuntu servers (clusters, storage, containers, monitoring, hardening)

My best and most satisfying work was **supporting big companies’ ERP systems**. I spent many years in a software company that developed its own ERP platform — I was the one installing, implementing and providing ongoing support for that ERP software at large enterprises. That meant dealing with mission-critical production environments, tight SLAs, complex integrations, data migrations, performance tuning, disaster recovery drills and making sure everything ran smoothly for companies that literally couldn’t afford downtime.

In 2017–2018 I got hooked on Bitcoin and Ethereum — first investing, then really digging into how the tech works under the hood. By 2020 it was obvious: blockchain is going to be important long-term infrastructure… and someone needed to report on it without all the drama.

So I created CoinReporter.io — clean news, clear explanations, no sponsored fluff, no moon predictions. Just the facts that actually matter: market moves, protocol upgrades, regulation, security, institutional steps.
