Dr. Qurban is a highly accomplished executive leader with over 29 years of experience in the field of technology. As the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Director at King Fahd Military Medical Complex (KFMMC) in Dhahran, KSA, he has spearheaded numerous innovative projects in the healthcare sector. Dr. Qurban holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Brunel University and is recognized for his key accomplishments in hospital digital transformation. Under his leadership, the team at KFMMC developed an in-house Hospital Information System (HIS) that received the HIMSS Stage 7 Award, making it the first system developed in a government hospital to receive this prestigious recognition. In addition to his work at KFMMC, Dr. Qurban has successfully implemented other projects such as Cloud Computing, Telecommunication, and AI in Healthcare. He is also an external advisor for Imam Abdulrahman Dammam University and an invited speaker at national and regional conferences.
