He founded NetSecLab and the Metaverse Laboratory for computer network security education and research. He is the editor-in-chief of the international journal "Journal of Metaverse".He has been working on the potential of blockchain at MSKU BcRG (Blockchain Research Group) since 2017. He has given various seminars and trainings about blockchain technology at various events. He taught blockchain courses at master's and undergraduate levels and served as a thesis advisor. He has various publications and a patent on decentralized technologies. He carries out interdisciplinary studies in the Metaverse Research group (MSKÜ MvRG), which he founded in 2021.
