Dr. Fatih Sinan ESEN (Ankara University) He received
his undergraduate education from Bilkent University Computer Engineering with a full scholarship in 2006
. He completed his master's degree (MBA) at Istanbul Bilgi University
in 2010, ranking first in the department and institute, and his doctoral education at Gazi University, Department of Business Administration, in 2017. He continues his second doctoral program studies in the field of artificial intelligence and natural language processing (NLP) at Ankara University, Department of Computer Engineering. He started working as an assistant expert in a public institution in 2007 and was promoted to the position of expert in 2012 and chief expert in 2018. He currently works on national/international monitoring of information and communication technologies,
policy development studies, and coordination of national strategies. He has given lectures on computer literacy, research methods, expert systems, and artificial neural networks
at undergraduate and graduate levels at various universities. He currently teaches part-time at Ankara University, Department of Computer Engineering. He is the director of a national project on the dissemination of open data. He has conducted multidisciplinary research in the field of
artificial intelligence ethics at the Munich-based Goethe Institut, given seminars, and currently mentors international working groups. He is a member of the AI Policy Clinic Research Group at the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP) based in Washington DC. He has many national/international academic articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings. He is the author of the book titled “From Smoke to Social Media: A Brief History of Mass Communication”. He also actively participates in many non-governmental organizations. Türkiye is a founding member of the Artificial Intelligence Consortium. He gives informative seminars to groups at different levels on artificial intelligence and metaverse and takes part as an invited speaker at national/international events.
