Web3 Foundation's goal is to develop cutting-edge applications for protocols for decentralized web software. Delivering Web 3.0, a decentralized and just internet where individuals are in charge of their data, identity, and future is their passion. Users will have control over their data, identity, and future on the internet thanks to the work of the Web3 Foundation. The Polkadot project is the main endeavor. They support Web 3.0 teams and open-source initiatives through money, lobbying, analysis, and partnerships.

 

The goal of the awards program is to protect the Web 3.0 ecosystem and prudently use Web3 Foundation funds. It gives grants to projects they think have the biggest long-term influence on the Web 3.0 ecosystem. Grants are given by the Web3 Foundation for particular initiatives and pieces of development work. Grant recipients shouldn't be thought of as Polkadot or Web3 Foundation partners.
