Company Info

Story Protocol is a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain built for intellectual property (IP). It changes how creators register, manage, and earn from their digital work. It works as a programmable IP infrastructure, where creators can bring their work on-chain and set usage rights, licensing terms, and revenue models directly using smart contracts. Unlike traditional IP systems that depend on slow legal processes, Story Protocol uses a decentralized IP management system where ownership, attribution, and royalties are handled automatically and stay transparent. The platform creates a global, on-chain IP repository where creators, developers, and AI systems can collaborate, license, and remix content easily.

Key Features of Story Protocol:

  • Every IP asset acts as a programmable account that can hold assets and manage transactions and licensing on its own.
  • The PIL framework links legal agreements with blockchain execution, making licenses enforceable and automated.
  • Multiple creators can collaborate, remix, and build on IP while keeping attribution and revenue sharing intact.
  • Creators can register and verify ownership on the blockchain, ensuring authenticity and resolving disputes.
  • Licensing terms are predetermined, and payments are made automatically for real-time royalty distribution.
