Mocaverse is a Web3 identity, NFT, and metaverse ecosystem built under Moca Network, a key project from Animoca Brands. It aims to bring different parts of the blockchain world together into one connected cultural network that works across platforms. Mocaverse sits across Web3, digital identity (DID), NFTs, and decentralized social systems, powering the future of the open metaverse economy using key tools like Moca ID, the MOCA token, and reputation-based digital identity systems.

Mocaverse Milestones:

 

Year	Achievements
2022	Animoca Brands announced Mocaverse in December 2022.
	It was introduced as a “closed-loop” ecosystem made for employees, partners, and institutional investors.
2023	In March, the 8,888 Moca NFT collection went live. Later in September, the project raised $20M, followed by another $11.88M in December.
	The funding round included support from Animoca Brands, OKX Ventures, and others to build the “Mocaverse ID” system.
2024	Moca ID: Launched as an on-chain DID (Decentralized Identifier) system to facilitate cross-platform identity.
	$MOCA Public Sale: The public sale on platforms like CoinList took place in April/May.
	TGE: The Token Generation Event (TGE) and official exchange listings occurred in July 2024.
2025	More than 200 ecosystem partners were integrated into the “PointFi” system.
	Users could earn and spend “Realm Points” across connected games and dApps within a single network.
