They offer respect to both past and present Elders of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people, as well as Elders from all First Nations communities who come to MCEC. They understand the enduring importance of the Birrarung River to the Traditional Owners as a vital source of life and a historic gathering place that has served as a hub for community and idea exchange for countless generations.
