Interledger Foundation

Interledger Foundation is a non-profit organization based in San Francisco, California, United States, established in the year 2019. Its mission is to promote global digital finance inclusion and equitable access to the digital economy through the Interledger Protocol (ILP). 

Key services:

• Interledger Protocol: that encourages cross-border payments.
• Web Monetization: is a tool allowing micropayments for digital content. 
• Open Payments: a standard for interoperable payments.

In 2019 Interledger Foundation was established by Coil Technologies and Ripple Labs.
