eToro is a global social trading and multi-asset investing firm with headquarters in Israel specializing in financial and copy trading services. Its corporate headquarters are in Central Israel and registered offices in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Cyprus.  Brothers Yoni Assia and Ronen Assia, along with David Ring, started eToro in 2007 in Tel Aviv as RetailFX.

The company debuted the eToro OpenBook social investment platform in 2010 along with its CopyTrader function, which allows users to mimic the top traders on the network automatically. On top of this feature, eToro's Social newsfeed and a Popular Investor program were eventually created. There are numerous financial assets available for investment at eToro. Although eToro is primarily a CFD and forex broker, you may also trade real stocks, ETFs, and different cryptocurrencies on its website. Social trading (CopyTrader) and Smart Portfolios are additional capabilities (previously called CopyPortfolios).
